Adriene Fara received the 2025 Raymond Walters Award for landscape painting. Fara was selected by faculty at Fleming College’s Haliburton campus.
A graduate of the Drawing and Painting program, Fara receives $500 and a complimentary one-year membership to The Arts and Letters Club of Toronto. The student will have the best grade/work produced in the drawing and painting program, with preference awarded to artists working in observational landscape genre. This award is presented to a student enrolled in the Drawing and Painting certificate course at the Haliburton campus.
The award is in memory of artist Raymond Walters (pictured above). Walters was a Life Member of The Arts and Letters Club of Toronto, and he spent years in Haliburton, painting the landscape.
